MEOPAR and ArcticNet open second round of joint postdoctoral fellow program

ArcticNet and MEOPAR have launched the second round of their joint funding opportunity for postdocs—the ArcticNet-MEOPAR Joint Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. 

Aimed at training the next generation of Arctic researchers and supporting promising new scholars from the natural, social and health sciences whose work focuses on the Arctic marine and coastal zones.

This opportunity will allow awardees to build the skills to advance their research career. Recipients of this award will have the opportunity to develop Inuit community research training initiatives and must be interested in being collaborators available to offer support to Inuit community research initiatives and input on training approaches and/or content, commensurate to their experience with offering foundational research skills training.

ArcticNet and MEOPAR are thrilled to work together to support the next generation of Arctic marine and coastal researchers by providing training and knowledge mobilization opportunities in addition to funding. Fellows are funded for one year with the opportunity to renew funding.
