The Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition’s National Strategy is live!

Today, the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition (COLC) celebrated the launch of its National Ocean Literacy Strategy—a culmination of an evidence-based and community-driven engagement process that saw participation from 400 organizations and more than 3,000 Canadians. With the UN Decade of Ocean Science in mind, COLC’s National Strategy outlines 9 action streams (see below) that provide a framework for action over the next 10 years. MEOPAR is proud to have supported this initiative via its Knowledge Mobilization Fund and Training Workshop Fund.
