Small-scale fisheries in Colours

These paintings were inspired by meetings with countries in Asia and Africa to portray a visual memory of key learnings on small-scale fisheries in these countries. Ana Carolina used watercolours as a learning process to get to know more about the countries while expressing in colours her experience. The paintings were inspired by the Photo of the week initiative and photos presented by countries in V2Vevents and meetings. These paintings were made during her postdoctoral fellowship with the V2VGlobal Partnership, supporting small-scale fishers in their transition from vulnerability to viability.
